Hey guys, I have a friend who just bought a Super Star 4900B base rig. I was wondering what the stock watt is supposed to put out on these rigs as far as AM deadkey and swing to SSB PEP. Right now on his brand new Astatic meters, It's putting out alittle over 10w on SSB, wich is kinda weak for me and AM is a 10w deadkey and swinging to 20w. I'm not too familiar with these bases. Also, Does anybody know the variables as far as AM power. AMC and ALC......Any input from anybody out here would be helpfull. Thanks |

Snapperhead, I have one of those worthless radios also.I replaced it with a Lincoln. Lets offer someone a deal, 2 for 1? hahahaha It would make a nice paper weight or a conversation piece. With 2 of them you could make book ends out of 'em. LOL |
