i bought a silver eagle and its four pin but it wont work on my president washington for some reason.the guy i bought it from told me its wired for a uniden washington but it wont wont on my president washington.heres how its wired 1-sheild 2-white 3-red 4-black .....how should it be wired to work on the president washington????..thanks

Wiring your Silver Eagle to the Washington should be:
Pin #1 ~ Shield & Blue
Pin #2 ~ White
Pin #3 ~ Red
Pin #4 ~ Black
Yellow ~ N-C
From the way you say it is wired now, Looks like they forgot to hook the Blue Wire with the Shield together on Pin #1.
