I need help with this base and nobody seems to want to work on it! When i first got the radio it kept blowin finals. So the local cb shop had it for 4 weeks and finaly got that fixed. They said it was something to do with the voltage being supplied to the finals and it kept blowing them! Anyways it is suppose to be fixed, and i havent blown a final since. Now the radio sounds Really muffled up! I have tried 3 different mikes with very little change. I have to run the dynamike at atleast 10 or 11 o'clock for people to understand what im saying! One other thing is I do not like the echo sound with this! It sounds like im screaming in a hollow barrel.I like the deep bassy sound to an echo, CB shop said i had to live with it! Somebody please help me, i have a lot of money rapped up into this and i would really like to keep it. Thank You.

Hmmm....It sounds just like the AM Power Regulator is shorted and you are getting 12 volts to the final..Do you have much swing when you talk? This will help me figure it out...
