Can i get more channels from this radio say with the 10khz switch ?
also how money watts can i expect from this cb base.
and what are the mods if any can help

Hey Lon:I'v got this trc-30(23ch.)and I checked the mod's. list over on the left.it' say's for the mod's vr8 or cut d507....I can't locate none of these number in this radio....I found the l910,l912,l13...as a matter of fact I can't even find a (d)in this unit but, I see o501/o502...can you help me out here.

Mrgoody,

VR8 will be either an adjustable ferrite coil inside a small brown colored tower probably filled with wax or an adjustment trimmer pot on the board.

D507 will be a very small resistor or diode.

The Adjustments listed in the Modification List are for the Realistic TRC-30 & TRC 30A

Personally I always go with adjustments as I refuse to cut/clip anything.
