i have a silver eagle that is wired for my eagle tomahawk but when i plug it in i cant hear anything and the receive cuts out.This is how its wired. 1~white 2~black 3~red 5~sheild and green.

Swamper,

Not sure what kind of cord you have on your eagle but there are no green wires in Astatic Mic's.

You should have six wires in the cord. WHITE/SHIELD/RED/BLACK/BLUE/YELLOW

It should be the same wiring as the Cherokee CBS 1000.

Try:
PIN #1 ~ WHITE
PIN #2 ~ SHIELD
PIN #3 ~ BLACK
PIN #4 ~ BLUE
PIN #5 ~ RED

YELLOW N/C

thanks i went to a shop and the guy took off my mic cord and put a new one on with a green wire in it i have no idea why he did this.guess ill have to go back tommaro and tell him.thanks lon!
