I am going to get a Magnum Maverick A24 and was wondering if anyone had any dealings with this radio?? And what the mods were to get the full deal from the radio?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

There is a standard tuning and only one trick that works right with the Maverick. Not something I can describe on a keyboard, but when done ther's no other radio that will touch it's output in it's class. |

Highlander1588--I own one of these radio's and I get nothing short of "Crisp", "Awesome" and "now that's a loud radio" when I talk to someone. The receive is super sensitive and can be modded if you like it or you can reduce your rf gain and/or use the squelch. Coppers will do it right.Billy |
