Dead 2950

I have an older 2950 that has no modulation. I have tried different microphones so it's not that simple. Any ideas and is it something a do it yourselfer can fix and if so where can I get the needed parts?

Friend of mine had an older 2950..It quit also..Took it to the shop..They took cover off..While useing the mike they used a no-conductive pencil erasier and started pressing the Board all over..Found small crack in board about the middle near the frame..Soldered a few places with low wattage soldering iron..Bingo it worked...Worth a try..............Also did ya cross the DC wires and blow the diode or what ever
at the antenna plug inside the radio ? ..Worth checking before paying some bucks out......Bill
