hello
i have a friend thats have power supply problems with his cherokee cbs 500 but i dont think its the power supply itself he said he check the voltage at the power supply it has voltage comeing from it but loseing it some where in the radio any help on this fellows.

WOW..Could not even guess on this one..."somewhere in the radio" is a very broad guestimate....

it works fine on a external power supply has great modulation everything works great he said but the power supply in the radio is losing current some where in the radio 307.

Well if it works on an external supply , it can only be one thing..The voltage regulator and or regulator circuit. Unfortunatly I have no schematic or know where you can get one. I can fix it for him if he would like but can't assist this repair on the Forum unless it is in front of me.
