Hi folks. This is really directed at the Copper Electronics people, but any input from others on this radio would also be appreciated.

I have an old Siltronix 1011C that has been pretty well taken care of over the years, but is presently not working properly. I would like to get this radio working well again, but I'm not very good (or knowledgeable) about fixing the problem myself. This radio had been very well refurbished for me back in the early 80s and always operated excellently. I talked all over the work with it and always got great reports on the power and sound quality, even on AM! Anyway, the radio now will turn on and receive, but it will not key up. I suspect the problem may lie with the big relays in the unit.

Can Coppers work on such a radio (diagnose, provide an estimate and repair), or can someone direct me to a reputable party who can do work. It would be nice if I could find someone here in the Baltimore or DC area.

Thanks in advance for any help you all can give!

Adam

Thanx, 307! I'll send this fellow a message when I get home this evening. If he can't or won't do the work, then I'll definitely get back in touch with you!

Adam
