I bought a power mic that takes an 6 volt battery at a ham fest but do not know the make. Is there a way to use an ohm meter to figure out which wire does what ? thanks, 619 |

619, If you have access to a Mic Tester that will help, without knowing what kind of mic it is or what kind of radio they had it wired to, can be a major headache. Many different companies use different color wiring codes, and it also depends wheather it has a 3-4-5-6 or 8 wire cord, hooked to a 3-4-5-6 or 8 Pin Mic Plug. Not much help here, Sorry Lon Tech808 |
