I have a boomer RX-100 that has lost the pre-amp. When you turn the preamp on it looses all the sound. turn it off and it comes back. Any suggestions on what it might be?? Also what should I set my DK to for this amp??
Thanks
Buck

CHECK PREAMP TRANSISTOR. IT COULD BE A 2N2905,PN2222, PN2219, PN2907, 2N3906, 2N4401, 2N4402.IT SHOULD BE ONE OF THIEM, OR CK THE DIODES NEAR IT, AND NEAR THE RELAY 1N4001? DK START AT 2 1/2 IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOUR SET UP IS.
