Midnitexpress,

The wiring for the MAXON should be:

Pin #1 ~ Shield
Pin #2 ~ Audio
Pin #3 ~ Transmit
Pin #4 ~ Receive

for the Radio Shack it should be:

Pin #1 ~ Shield
Pin #2 N/C
Pin #3 ~ Transmit
Pin #4 ~ Audio
Pin #5 ~ Receive

I hope this will help you some.

Tech 808, above you have the wiring code for the MCB-30 (Maxon). You have it listed as a 4 pin female, the radio I have has a 5 pin din plug on it, like the typical radio shack. Any suggestions

Midnitexpress,

Sorry, the wiring I gave you was for the MCB-60

I do not have anything showing the MCB-30 wiring.

Maybe someone out there who has one might have the owners manual for them.

Midnitexpress,

Sine the Maxon MCB-60 is the same wiring as the Cobra Radios you might get lucky with the wiring for the 5 Pin Din Cobra Wiring on the MCB-30.

Cobra wiring:

Pin #1 ~ Audio
Pin #2 ~ Transmit
Pin #3 ~ N/C
Pin #4 ~ Shield
Pin #5 ~ Receive

I just figured that if they used the Cobra wiring for thier 4 pin Radios that they might have used the Cobra wiring for their 5 Pin Din radios.

Let me know if this works.
