STOCK Wiring for the MECTRON ME400 is:
PIN #1 ~ AUDIO
PIN #2 ~ SHIELD
PIN #3 ~ RECEIVE
PIN #4 ~ TRANSMIT

I have what looks exactly like a ME-400 but it is black and does not say ME-400 under the meter. Maybe it was painted. Anyhow, the only schematic I can find for the ME-400 shows a PLL chip. The radio in front of me has crystals. There is not a single integrated circuit in there. The sticker on the back says FCC DATA: MCB-22 which returns nothing on an FCC ID search. SN: 12405520. Does anyone have a schematic? Thanks! |

Transonic MCB-22 is the same radio, I wonder what came first. It has the Gold Star board. |
