I need the mike wiring for 2 radios, a realistic htx - 10 and an htx - 100 ...both are 10 meter rigs...thanks in advance...kd4amg |

Kd4amg, HTX-100 PIN #1 ~ Microphone Input PIN #2 ~ Push to Talk PIN #3 ~ Scan Down PIN #4 ~ Scan Up PIN #5 ~ 8 volts PIN #6 ~ Audio Out PIN #7 ~ Microphone Ground PIN #8 ~ GROUND HTX 10 is suppossed to be like the Magnum 257 PIN #1 ~ AUDIO PIN #2 ~ RECEIVE PIN #3 ~ TRANSMIT PIN #4 ~ SHIELD As I have never worked on or wired any HTX-10 or HTX-100 radio's the above wiring I have listed is from my wiring books & manuals & information from others. thanks for trying, this rig has a 6 pin mike plug ( like a ranger 2950 ) however it will NOT recieve ( audio thru the speaker ) with the mike unplugged like a ranger 2950 will....so we will just have to guess and experiment...but I DO appreciate you trying any way... i dont think it will take much "trial & error " to figure it out, with the HELP of the 2 wiring diagrams you presented, they WILL help to get it narrowed down a lot...thanks !! |

Kd4amg, If you are talking about the HTX-10 you only need to use the 4 pins listed above for it to work, Not all 6 pins. Lon Tech808 |

Kd4amg The wiring that Lon gave you for the HTX-100 IS correct. The HTX-10 wiring is also correct. I have wired both of these radios on numerous occasions. Jeff, kc0gxz. |
