I added a post the other day to see if anyone knew the value and location of the limiters in a HR2600, No response yet, now I need to find the same info for a Colt 1000 I just picked up.
Why do people remove the limiters? Anyway if you know this info for either of these rigs please let me know.

Mitch,

The limiter in the HR2600 is a 2.2K resistor located in front of Q21.

I have nothing on the Colt 1000
