Hello, I run a2950&2970 and have done all kinds of mods to them, But I am getting a 2980 used from Ebay and was wondering if this rig can cover the 11meter bands? If so from the factory this way or is it a mod? Lastly if its a mod can you tell me what is involved? thanks

They will talk on 11 meters. I have talked to a few people who have them. NICE sounding radios:)
