I have a 101E with the 11M on the band switch,I have heard that to have TX a wire on the band switch can be cliped, I would like to know which wire and anything else needed to do this.

Take the top cover off and see if there is a crystal in socket #5. If not, it's not going to transmit in that position.

Yes there is a crystal there , the rig does receive on 11M.
