The 12 Meter Ham band is in the upper portion of 24MHz. You might want to take note of that and steer clear of it.

Jeff ive been using 12 meters nice very nice and with a antenna tuner i can rubber my astroplane down there

What radio do you use for 12 and how much power do you have left AFTER going through the tuner as compared to what is going into the tuner?

By the way. I've seen the picture of your 945-E. That looks like a neat compact little tuner as compared to my oversized 949-E

I used the ft-840 running 50 watts to the tuner the output from the tuner was only 30 watts. Also can use my dx-70 or ft-100 when it gets home. I no longer have the lincoln it has been sold. As for the 945 is very nice but limited in what it will do and in power handeling i RECOMEND it to anyone using a lincoln or 2950 who wants to run on 12 meters..... however at 200 watts it will get WARM.
