I have a 23 channel midland 13-898b and would like to upgrade it to at least a 40 channel if not more. Would anyone let me know the best or most cost effective way to do so. I am doing this to help someone out and make a new cb friend in this great hobby. Thanks ahead of time.

I NEVER RECOMEND DOING THIS ... but if you realy feel its worth it .... first you probly need a expander board and 2 crystals for 23 up 23 down
a good diagram and a bit of luck cost about $60 in parts plus the samsphotofact. Just the crystals today are 10-20 bucks EACH it an't cheep.
