the amp will lock up in all three stages of tx. you have to turn it off then back on to rx.sometimes it will key up properly.any suggestions.

Make your jumper cable GREATER than 12' long....That should do it...

You know 307 I often wondered about this,does the short jumper set up standing waves that reflect enough power back to the amp input to keep it keyed,like a self occilating tuned circuit,or is it something else?
