I was wondering what adaptor I need for the Magnum series radios??? I am trying to put an Astatic 555 Trucker on my Roadpro Titan II and I need an adaptor. I would just wire it for a 6 pin plug but it only has 4 wires and I dont want to put a new cord on it. I also might try it on my Lincoln(If I ever get to use it) SO I will just leave the mic wired for a 4 pin cobra and buy the 2510 adaptor and whatever adaptor I need for the TitanII

Microphone configuration
Pin Description
1 Audio
2 Receive
3 Transmit
4 Ground = Channel Down, 2.2K ohm to Pin 3 = Channel UP
5 Ground and Switch common
6 13.8 Volts. Watch it, this is not current limited
Your mike hot goes to pin 1
recive lead to pin 2
transmit to pin 3
mike/tr ground pin 5
all others leave alone |

The Magnum Omegaforce mike is wired the same as Bruce gave. I have some 6 pin ranger to 4 pin cobra/galaxy adapters, and I rewired one so it would work on the Omegaforce, I wanted to try a Silver Eagle D-104 that is wired 4 pin. It works ok on TX, but caused a slight hum in the radio on receive. I tried a Turner plus three desk mike also thats wired four pin, it didn't cause the hum, but everyone tells me the Magnum hand mike sounds the best. I've been meaning to rewire the silver eagle to 6 pin to see if it still causes the hum, but what the heck, the hand mike is handy to use, and you sure don't have to eat it, with the mike gain on 7 or 8 you can hold it 8 or 10 inches away. Thanks guys...I never thought about rewiring one of the adaptors. I would like to be able to possibly use different mics on the radios (Lincoln and Titan) So I think I will leave my mics wired for the 4 pin cobra and get a set of the adaptors to use.
