I have a ranger 2950DX and when I turn it on the volume is low on the AM side, that with the volume all the way up. Can I fix it myseft or do I need to send it back to Copper to have it fix? Love this radio.

Drthunder,
If it's under warranty then you should send it to RCI, they will make it right.

If it is less than 2 years old it should still have factory warranty left!!

Dr thunder,

if not, send it to coppers they have a radio repair shop and good techs on hand to fix it right up.

it sounds like the ic chip ta7222a might be bad.

im not a tech just a hobbiest that works on my own radios when i can, but that's what it sounds like to me.
