Where can i find a couple of SD1407's for this amp without taking out a loan. Also, does anyone know how the 11 meter lockout work in this amplifier.I know how to convert it,just wondered how it does its job.

MRF422s are high drive,sd1407 are very low drive,max in for 422s is 15 watts,for 1407s 3 watts,each,big difference,the 422s are discontinued and the 1407s are 96$ for a matched pair,whew!Bigbob

I need info on KLV 550 What is part on bridge rectifier, looks like capacitor that has been dammaged. It is shunted across secondary leads. Dosen't show on schmatic.

I have a klv 550 that has a voltage of 35 volts 0n secondary winding. Is this correct?

I was told someone in New York was the main dude for repair on RM Italy's KLV amps.
Does anyone have his name and number.
