New amp that i just recieved it has 2 sd1446 pills in it
how many watts do i put into it ?
also with the amp on and a 3 feet jumper my swr is 2.2on AM,,,,even if i change the lenght to 12 feet there is no change in swr
With the amp off the swr is 1.1.
how can i lower my swr with the amp on? |

Dumb qestion,do you reset the meter after you turn on the amp? 2 SD1446 PILLS 2 to 2 1/2 watts dead key am,no more than 12 p.e.p. ssb,same as my palomar 250,if it truly is a high drive then the input is padded to bleed off some RF energy,then you could probably hit it wth 4 watts,no more. |
