Leonard,

The Standard Mic Wiring for your 2980WX is:

Pin #1 ~ SHIELD
Pin #2 ~ AUDIO
Pin #3 ~ TRANSMIT
Pin #4 ~ RECEIVE

Look to the LEFT of the Forum here and you will see Tools and Mic. Wiring

CLICK on Mic. Wiring and it will show you the wiring for the Astatic as well as the Turner.

Hope this helps.

Thank you Lon
I did look there but I seen 6 hook up's.
I just assumed it was for the other radios oop's.
I was looking for a code like an example
1-Red
2-Black
3-Ground
4-Sheild
But I do Thank you and sorry for being a pest.

Well it is confusing but if you look at most of the codes the First 4 pins are mostly the same in all RCI / Ranger Radio's.

And Pin 5 & 6 are used for the Up & Down Button's.

Leonard,

The standard Mic wire colors in the Turner +2 are:

RED = TRANSMIT
WHITE = AUDIO
BLACK = RECEIVE
SHIELD = GROUND

I apologize as I was going back reading post's and noticed I forgot to include the Turner Wire Color Code for you.
