could you explain this a little better so we could 'try' to help you. from what you are saying, i think the radio is actually be between the 2 channels, making it seem to be on both at the same time. |

Hi I looked at the back of the board where the channel display is and found two fryed resistors board number dpt295040z they are burt so I can not see the bands does any body now the value of these. the numbers are r6 and r4 and would this be the reason for the problem with this radio or would there be something else within the radio that caused these to burn other than in this board any info would be great thanks |

no this will not cause your problem. those are for the dimmer control. it is normal for these to discolor. as long as the radio still dims as it should, they are fine.

HI No it has no display lights and the resistors are burnt as in nothing left to them. does anybody no what makes it transmit on 4 channels at the same time? Thanks coolcat |

if that is the case, then you need to check the output of the built in power supply. this is a sign that the passive regulators have $*&! the bed. if they short, they will send 20v or so to the radio and cpu pcb. the toasting of those resistors is a good sign that this may be your problem. it could also be why the radio is txing funny. |
