Pancake, Well get ready and I will try and explain this the best I can for you. Turn the base of the microphone upside down so that the Volume Control is Next to you on the LEFT and Battery Holder is on your RIGHT. You will see a Brown Bar with a printed Circuit board attached to the TOP of it. Yow will see 3 Double Ended Solder Bars then a space with a Screw in the 4th one going to circuit board, then 2 more then another one with a screw in it going to circuit board and then 2 more. Should look like below. "S" / means Screw "-" = means Space between 3 & 5 on bottom row. 0 0 0 S 0 0 S 0 0 / Top Row __________________________ 0 0 0 - 0 0 0 0 0 / Bottom Row 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 OK here we go. Volume Control has "3" legs on the LEFT of it. "RED" Battery wire connect's to the TOP LEFT Pin (away from you) of VOLUME CONTROL (It should also have a small Purple wire soldered to it. "BLACK" Battery wire connect's to the Bottom row of Pin #2 Closest to you. NOW for The MIC CORD! The "CLEAR COATED / White" Mic wire connect's to PIN #1 on the Bottom row closest to you and "it should have a small White wire soldered to the Top of pin." The "BLACK" Mic Wire connect's to PIN #3 on the Bottom row closest to you and "it should have a small Blue wire soldered to the Top of this pin." The "RED" Mic Wire connect's to PIN #5 on the bottom row closest to you and "it should have a small Red wire soldered to the top of this pin." The BARE/ Shield Mic wire should go to PIN #8 on bottom row closest to you and it should have a small Yellow wire soldered to the top of this pin. And leave maybe 1/2 inch of SHIELD wire to solder to PIN #7 on the bottom also. (Pin #7 has screw in top). NOTE! Shield Wire CONNECT's to BOTH PIN #8 (first) and then PIN #7 NOTE! PIN #6 / 6th from the left, has "NO" wires connected to it! That's it! Hope this help's. Lon Tech808 |
