Will turning the Pots VR14-(Am Power) & VR17-(Modulation) all the way up fry the finals? If it will could you tell me how much to tweak each to avoid this, some tell me "Go ahead and crank em' all the way!" , but I'm afraid to! Your help would be appriciated.

Well , what I mean is you can turn it up...The BEST way is to open the modulation all the way and set the carrier at about 75% max on this radio , I have done this to many and never had one smoke yet. |

Thanks for the info 307, You are talking about the pots inside the radio aren't you? Not the regular controls on the outside, right? |

That is correct , on the inside of the radio. |
