I have a FT-1000D and I cannot get the mod to open extended transmit to work. I have the 6.0 prom version. I have looked at the solder pad with a magmifing glass and can't see any solder bridging the gap. I would like to use this radio on 11 meters but I need a little help.

You should only have to remove the jumper at JP3. Sent you an e-mail for a web site.

You can take a razor knife and just cut the trace and yes I have done it before.
