I got a new truck today, regular cab chevy 4 x 4. 4 x 4 shifter is on floor, not on dash. I want to mount two radios one on top of the other between dash and floor. My ? is how far apart do the radios have to be to NOT cause any damage to either radio? One is Uniden PC 76 XLW with weather bands, other is Uniden Grant XL am/ssb. I do not run ANY amplifiers. Thanks.
Anybody want to donate gas money?

didn't check open forum, keith, but, do you plan on having them both turned on at same time? in my base, all mobiles radios are mounted in 3 stacks next to each other, have never had any problems when off, even w/amp inline. tried a 76 on weather band had no interference over it, w/150w radio, you could hear rfi thru speaker depending on where i held mic, my hands, etc.(sounds like i may have to work on station grounding) though it didn't override weather, otherwise no ill effects. yet, my ar3500 BLASTS across my neighbors RCA tv's stereo speakers about 350' away with the tv turned off! and it still comes thru speakers w/tv unplugged. ahhhhhh yessss
