I have a Washington base that works GREAT except for low modulation. I was told to cut the R-104 and that would get the modulation up. I do not have a schematic for the radio and would like to know where the R-104 is located. I would appreciate your help in this matter. Thanks: |

Aircop12, r-104 is located directly in front of tr-33 but I would not clip it.instead replace r-105(1.5k ohm)with a 500ohm1/4watt to raise modulation without overmodulating to the point of splatter.r-105 is not labeled in either of the washingtons here but are located to the left of r-104 with one end i the space marked d-70. |
