hey i have an xforce 400hd, they say I should use 4 gauge wire. Well the wire coming out the back of that amp is 10 gauge. How the heck can i connect these two together. Or what would be the best way. Is there some kinda plug. Thx |

solder it, preferably, or use the twist on connectors, anything except the old twist-together-&-tape-it trick.
i removed the factory wires from my texas star dx1600 and soldered in #6 or #4(don't remember), it makes it that much easier to connect to my #00 cables. |

put a peice of shrink tubing over one end of the wire.. solder the two together then melt the tubing over it.. bang alset. |

Im using a power distribution block that I got from my local stereo shop.
I can run any size I want or need and dont have tons of stuff hooked up to the post on the battery. |
