I had a power surge come in on my radio and it blew something up about a year ago. I got it fixed and then the radio would get muffled up to where it would sound like you were a couple channels away I had it fixed and a couple of months later it done it again.I believe it was the finals but not 100% sure. Could anyone tell me what could cause this to keep happening, maybe something is backfeeding thru the radio till it takes it out again I don't know. I have no problem on the receive end of the radio and it keys up and swings the same as it has always done and you can't tell anything is wrong until someone tells you

might want to check the audio transistor.. in that radio i cant remember what it is.,.. that or check the power going to finals maybe it is varying to much an it is shorting the finals
out. |
