Can you run 2 KLV 400 amps in parallel?
I figure it like this...
Out of my Galaxy 2517 into a splitter.
Then one side to each KLV 400.
Out of each 400 into a combiner (reverse splitter).
Then to the Antenna thus combining the both amps output power.
If each amp produces a 100 watt dead key, you "should" see 200 watts at the antenna.
If it works, this is a nice efficient way to use your amps to get more power without having to buy bigger to get more. Most of us have more than one linear lying around.
Why not put them all to work?
Well? Any feedback? If you think it would not work please explain the technical reasons why it would not. As long as you see 50 ohm after the combiner, I think it may work.

Has anyone tried this yet?

yes, if both amps are identical, it can be done--I have seen dual 32 pill banks wired together that way--and it does work! L.A., Calif. shoot-out....Doc Audio ran his amps like that...driving them with a pumped up ts 667v into a toridal splitter then recombined. you have to make sure of proper phasing and a heavy enough wattage equilizer resistor(ya-know...that 100 ohm one).
