I bought a used galaxy saturn very similar to the RCI2980. someone had disconnected the echo board. didn't leave any indication as to how it hooks back up. This board doesn't look to be stock in the radio, Since someone has removed the headphone jack to install the adjustment knobs. The board number on the echo is EPT0SSB50Z.I need a diagram/parts layout of board to try to figure out how to get this board working on the radio again.Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

Sanoma, Why can't you just post it here? I'm not trying to be picky and I am sure Reaper is thankfull but I like to read this stuff just for info... Besides, I'm sure someone else may have that problem and need the advise. BC |

Bc910, VERY GOOD IDEA Bc! If it is Posted on the Copper Forum then other Copper Forum Members will be able to have access to it NOW and in the FUTURE if they use the Search Feature. If a question is Asked on the Copper Forum then it is Nice to have it Answered on the Copper Forum. This e-mail me stuff is getting way out of control. The Copper Forum was not designed to be a Private e-mail service. The Copper Forum is here to Help all of the Copper Forum Members not just a selected few who are forced to e-mail someone for the information. If someone has Helpful Information in answer to a question that has been posted / asked on the Copper Forum then POST it on the Copper Forum so it will benefit all of the Present and Future Copper Forum Members! Just my personal thoughts, Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |

those of us computer idiots-i mean illiterates-sometimes find it easier to give a web address rather then a complicated copy & paste job. & of course that site contains sales or other no-no's & the e-mail thingy is the easiest way around those nasty little moderator notes!:-) |

Doesn't the forum have a personal message feature just for emailing? Why folks ask for it instead of just doing it themselves I don't know. I understand wanting the information to be on the forum, but like Patzerozero said, those moderator notes seem to come from out of nowhere and it's just easier to show someone a link than to edit an entire page so it meets the criteria so it will be posted. |

Racer_x, Yes, the Copper Forum does have the PM Feature IF and ONLY IF someone wants to use it for their e-mail and has the box checked in their Profile. The "Moderator Notes" would not have to "come out of nowhere" if EVERYONE would just read the Copper Forum Rules and follow them and Check EVERY link they try and post to make sure it does NOT Violate the Copper Forum Rules. If a Post has a link in it that link can also have many more links in it. The poster needs to CHECK and make sure EVERY LINK does not violate the Copper Forum Rules It is very easy to do and over 98% of the Copper Forum Members have no problems with Reading and Following the Copper Forum Rules. The Forum Rules are posted at the Top Left of the Forum for Every Copper Forum Member to read before making his or her post. Forum Membership Register Forum Rules And if someone does not understand the Copper Forum Rules then there is also the Contact feature so members can ask the Forummaster or one of the Moderators questions before posting. Utilities Search Contact User List Users Online Edit Profile The Copper Forum Rules that the Copper Forumaster put in place when he designed the Copper Forum are very easy to understand and follow. Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN Tech808 @ copperelectronics.com Tech808 @ iglou.com PS, I personally choose to not use the PM Feature.

"If a Post has a link in it that link can also have many more links in it. The poster needs to CHECK and make sure EVERY LINK does not violate the Copper Forum Rules" I don't think that's the rule. The rule as it currently reads is "You may not post links or references to direct competitors of Copper Electronics." I think I interpret the wording of the rule differently than you do. Why? Because if you click on all of the links on ANY website eventually you'll come across a banner ad or link that sells something that Copper sells. I recently posted a link to an informational page put up by a manufacturer of a product that Copper sells. There was not a single mention of a product for sale on the page of the link that I posted. You had to click a link to go to a page that even mentioned anything for sale, and another page that even mentioned prices - prices that are higher than Copper's prices. It was edited. I assume it was edited because that website sold their own products. Sold them FOR MORE MONEY than Copper does. How that violated the rule I don't know. |

Racer_X, If a post you made has a link in it and by clicking on another link in it then takes you to a site that with ads or is a competitor of Copper Electronics then it is breaking the rules. The Copper Forummaster made the Rules and those are the Rules that the Moderators have to follow. None of the Moderators work for Copper ELectronics and we are required to follow the same rules as the members do and the rules that the Copper Forummaster sets for us. If you have a problem with the Copper Forum Rules then maybe you should contact the Copper Forum Master direct to resolve your problems. Just look to the Left of the Forum here and you will see: Utilities Search Contact User List Users Online Edit Profile Just click on Contact and his e-mail address is listed.
