1 - Transmit
2 - Recieve
3 - Shield
4 - Audio

As far as colors on the mic and cord, I dunt know man! Sorry! But I am sure you can figure that out with an ohm meter.

Following the prior poster,
my question is will this adapter M60-07424 work in reverse?. I have a Astatic 576 wired to an old Midland "Powermax" 40ch AM cb. I sold the midland with the stock mike on it, and kept the 576. Now I want to use the 576 mike with the midland plug on both my Uniden Pc 78 radios. Will the adapter make this happen??. If not where can I get an adapter for this application??. Thanks in advance.

Well, you all don't have to answer at once, there is room for everyone. Now will this adapter work or not?. If not, I'd appreciate some reccomendations for another adapter, please.

Techs, If this post needs to be moved to customer service, to get an answer, I'm okay with it. It's a ghost town out here.

Wolverine,

You can carefully take the M60-07424 Mic Adapter apart and Reverse the Factory wiring from end to end and it should work with no problems.

Just write down the color of the wires going to the 4 pin Male end and the 4 pin Female end and Reverse / Re-solder them to the other end.

Hope this helps,

Lon

Wolverine,

Glad to help!

I recently had to rewire two of them to adapt them to Yaesu and Icom 8 Pin plugs and make jumpers to test a New Desk Mic.

Use a Volt/Ohm Meter to check all connections when you are finished.
