I have a Galaxy 250 High Drive. Can I drive my little Palomar 50 watt into it? Radio is at 2 watt DK and swings around 25 watts. Please help.

no.
8-10 watts dead key & 20-25 swing is max.
what does your radio alone get from the amp? if it keys 60+ & swings 150+ you're already close to max.
rather then blowing it up force feeding it for some extra watts, open it up & see what transistors are in it. probably 454, 455 or 1446's.they're 60-80 watt rated. get an amp with either 2 or 4 2sc2879's, or 4 2sc2290's & you'll get anywhere from 100-350 more watts then the galaxy 250 gives you.
