Trying to wire a old realistic power power mic to a newer 706. The mic has 4 wire's shield,red,black,white.newbee to wiring mic's thank's.... Coopper Forums are allsome......

Hilifer,

Realistic mics are:

PIN #1 ~ SHIELD
PIN #2 ~ N/C
PIN #3 ~ TRANSMIT
PIN #4 ~ AUDIO
PIN #5 ~ RECEIVE

As for the 706 sorry but I have no idea what the Stock wiring for it is.

You also might want to make a post in the HAM GEAR area here in the Ask The Tech area for the wiring on the 706.
