Hello-
Please supply mic wiring for Madison (5pin) 8719 PLL. Turner has 4 wires.
White
Black
Red
Shield
I tried the following and got a really bad squeal in the speaker,...
1-White
2-Shield
3-Red
5-Black
Thank you for the correct wiring!

Xlaxx,

Madison Mic Wiring is:

Pin #1 ~ Audio
Pin #2 ~ Shield
Pin #3 ~ Receive
Pin #4 ~ Sw Wire
Pin #5 ~ Transmit

Turner +3 Mic Wiring is:
Audio ~ White
Common ~ Shield
Transmit ~ Black
Receive ~ Red

Looks like you have Pins #3 & #5 reversed.

Xlaxx, you had it right unless the wires have been changed in the mike. Did you try the switch on the bottom of the mike in both positions.

is that squeal like the one that happens when you short the audio line to ground? im thinking that you have a short from your audio line to ground either at the connector or inside the mic.
have you checked it with a fresh battery?

mic should be on relay on the bottom
