I have a galaxy dx 33 hml "cb" and im using a black cat 300 HD. My ? is when i am running my amp when i let off the key it sticks and i cant hear anyone it started out just being a slight delay now its sticking and i have to keep keying down the mic to get it unstuck. I have changed jumpers from a 3ft to a 6ft to a 9ft and nothing helps. it doesn't have a switch for side-band either. the amp is only about 3 months old. any input would be highly appreciated . You are running three feet of cable transmitter to radio -aren't you?

Copper's Texhs showed me some documentatuion where a 9 foot coax run to the radio eleviates a mismatch that causes that problem.

I feet to the amp. But 9 feet total.

I run 9 feet to the AMP and 3 to the meter. Works either way. This also improved my SWR.

COAX IS COAX! RG-58 RG8 RG8X RG213 ARE ALL 50 OHM COAX NO MATTER WHAT LENGTH YOU USE. AS FOR YOUR RELAY PROBLEM CHANGE IT OR POP THE SSB CAP OFF OF IT

Sorry CP, I have had amps that just would not release the relay with a specific length of coax between the radio and amp, on one I had to use 3ft, nothing else would work, on another 9 ft was the key, you gotta experiment!
