the old 90A has 2-6LF6 tubes in it and as soon as i get the 400 back ill let you know what tubes it has in it !
but the guy i took it to asid the driver tube had been bypassed to run with a driver amp !

so should i run the Pal 90A into it or have him fix the driver setup in the amp ?

Thanks Again ! Allagator

Have him fix the driver, you'll have much better audio and the tubes will last tons longer, you know less problems with splatter, but if you must have the n'th degree of power then drive it with the 90a the tech will like your business, because you not only stress the tubes but the caps and transformers and rf parts has tranformers but they're not cheap, neither are the caps.Bigbob
