Salty_bones,

Cobra 4 Pin Mic Wiring

PIN #1 ~ SHIELD
PIN #2 ~ AUDIO
PIN #3 ~ TRANSMIT
PIN #4 ~ RECEIVE

Washington 5 Pin Mic Wiring

PIN #1 ~ AUDIO
PIN #2 ~ SHIELD
PIN #3 ~ RECEIVE
PIN #4 ~ Sw. Wire
PIN #5 ~ TRANSMIT

As for the Syncron I have no idea what the wiring code is.

Is it wired for any kind of radio now?
And if so what is/was it being used on?

Hope this helps,

I think they are pre wired for Midland radios. Copper use to carry them and they are still on the copper site but not for sale.

Ok I have been trying to wire this Syncron MP7000RB Echo mic up to my Uniden Washington Base 5 pin.
1. Yellow
2.Shield
3.Black
4.------
5.Blue
It worked roger beep and all put when I turned up the volume it cut out and made weard sounds. I then used this:
1.Yellow
2.------
3.black
4.shield + red
5.blue
Using this the volume works fine and the radio talks fine but when you turn on the roger beep and key up the mic you you lose your recieve and the mic does not modulate. Any help would be great. Thanks for you time.
