allagator,

which "dial-a-watt" are u referring to? the one i am most familiar with uses several diodes. u lift up one end of the anti-spiking diode and using a multi-position wafer switch, add more diodes. each rotation of the sw puts another diode in series.

if u r referring to a continously variable output configuration, u still lift the cathode side of the diode and install it there.

there is a post somewhere on here that has a drawing of such a device, but i cannot find it.

if no one else can direct u to it, email me and i'll email u a version i have here somewhere :-)

i was looking for the one like you can make for a cobra 29 ltd classic ! by removing JP36 and adding a 25V-100uf cap and 2 100ohm resistors and runing 2 wires to the delta tune ! but i was told by a guy here close that it cant be done in a 89 XLR ! so im looking for anyway i can turn it down to run a amp then power it back up for the local ragchewing !

Thanks for any info you can find !
