It better go get a job after I buy it, I mean at that price it should learn to help out around the house, maybe help my wife clean, get a job, wash my car, something...

Even the cheapest one at $6000.00 is beond my wallet, although it sure is a sharp looking radio. Wonder how much the three models differ?

I don't have the means to allow me to purchase a luxury item like this, but I guess there are those who do and will.

I own a radio that cost $2000.00 when it was newly released to the market. The price slowly declined to about $1200.00 when it was clearanced, and I paid $800.00 for it and a desk microphone that regularly sold for $150.00 - both NIB. Maybe the price will come down to a more affordable level after a few years.

my wife bought the XXX i currently use mobile for me for christmas '95 or '96, & complained about the $130 price tag then! there's NO WAY i'd be able to get 1 of those yaesu's in here! heck, she complains when the UPS man brings another XXX to the front door, & they only cost $50 or $60!
