Keithinatlanta,

The easiest way is to go to one of the the Internet Auction Sites and check the prices or one of the ON LINE / Internet Ham Stores and look at the prices of USED Ham Equipment.

Hope this helps,

Keith, what model ICOM? Due to the fact of the upcoming FCC changes of the dropping of the code requirement to obtain a general class license. The price of used HF amateur transceivers in A-1 condition is going to skyrocket. Some prices on used HF gear are already up. One outlet has the same rig as mine the ICOM IC-735 listed at $***.95, up by $75.00 over the last listing 2 months ago.

Keith,
If my memory serves me the Icom ic-736 is 160 thru 10 meter HF, 100w, solid state, I think has internal power supply, and included 6 meters..right? I think that this was a good rig and with 6 meters well sought after and worth some money even on the used market. Just from the hip I think anywhere used price from $600 to $750 depending on condition, functionality, filters, extras like mic, box, manual etc.. My suggestion and what I have told my wife to do if I pass is to put everything I own on EBay and let the market place the value on my radio gear...I normally do not like EBay from a buyers point of view but from a sellers it really will get you the most bang for your buck and if you are unsure on what it is worth those folks Ebaying it will let you know (set a low reserve of $450 and let it go from there). If you don't feel comfortable with that then find a local club

http://www.arrl.org/FandES/field/club/clubsearch.phtml

and see if someone needs a new rig..local also is the way to go to save on shipping costs and or problems.

Hope this helps.
