Freebird,

Sorry but No fan.

Texas Star Site says:

4 watts in gives 180 watts out,
20 watts in gives 350 watts out

Texas Star Amplifier Specifications

W90-00230 Texas Star DX 350HDV Mobile

Hope this helps,

I wrecked a TS350HDV driving it with a Magnum 257 on SSB. For the first few hours it worked like a charm. 350WPEP and clear and clean....I know better now. Great little amp for the right radio. Run it at around 200 PEP and it will last a long time.

No it is just a meter with a scale to let you know how hard the amp is working.
If you start pegging it your amp has probably not long to live
