Anyone use one of these? A little pricey, but it would be great if it worked well. I see that they make several versions. Are they stout enough for a Moonraker 4?

my neighbor used one on a super lazer 500. Only problem was when he lowered the beam. He had to unhook one guy wire to let the beam by. Looked awful scary to me. The hazer worked fine, the tower is the problem due to guy wires being an obstruction upon lowering.

Anyhow, some users of the Hazers have plenty
of trouble with them. Some people have reported
poor quality and poor direction and the need to
modify the unit. Some people they worked decent
for them.

I read some of the reviews and wanted to hear from cbr's who are a little more forgiving than alot of that sites' reviews. Oh, just wondering why it is wrong to post url's to a company that specializes only in tower/specialty equipmnent? Does Coppers sell that kind of stuff? If they do, then I can see why.

I used to use a hazer when taking my Laser 400s down back in the day. I had a 40 ft tower that was guy wired also. What I would do is to take two equal lenghts of rope and tie them to the top of my tower, then I would pull the rope out into my yard and tent stake them down, I would run them out at the same angle and stake them off about 15 feet apart, as I lowered the beam, the beam would ride down the two peices of rope, kinda like a slide. I would stop the beam just before the elements would hit the ground, then go up a folding ladder to grap the boom and move it how I needed it. Hope this helps...
