Does anyone know the frequency range on this amp? Does it need to be modded for 11 meter? I googled but could not find any info relating to freq. rangs on this amp. If anyone knows please let me know.
Thank You!

I do not know the frequency range for the amp, but it does not need to be converted to 11 meters. It will work fine on the regular forty channels as well as upper and lower channels.

Thank You! Seems the forum has been dead the past few days. Maybe everyone crashed their computers like I did. Thanks again for that info. I did find some info on this amp and other Palomar amps. They seem to be very, very broad banded, like 10 to 40 meters. Which means that these amps are probably, well not probably, they are very, very, noisy. Maybe I will continue to use my Texas Star DX-500.

Most solid state amps are 2 to 30 megs in band width unless they say they are switchable multi band units used primarily on ham riggs, the switchable units are much cleaner usually, too.Bigbob
