Browning Mark 3 i have come into has an issue....everything on AM works fine but when i switch the reciever to lsb or usb i get no sound out of the speaker,,,,have sound on AM but none when switched to SSB.....thanks for any help in advance.....Clark514 CEF122 |

Start troubleshooting somewhere around the detector stage. Look for a bad coupling cap or maybe a tube. Doubt it would be the tube, but it is a possibility.
Since AM works, you can rule out the osc, mixer, and RF stages. That narrows it down nciely. |
