Can i dissable the driver pill in that amp so i can use my Galaxy 95T as the driver?Would this even work or would the 95T still be to much radio for that amp?I hate going out and buying another radio to use with the 667 because i love the performance of the Galaxy.

the 95t would make a nice driver for a texas star dx1200 or dx1600. for a 4 pill amp, you'd need to back the dead key down to about 8 watts or so & back off mic gain/PEP to less then 40 watts. since i don't have a 95t, not sure how far down PEP will go before audio starts to lower...as for disabling 2290 driver, anything is possible. quick look at schematic-yeah, whether or not it is worth the time & effort is another story.
